Important information about course duration and course restrictions
In Great Britain, courses are called modules.
Some modules take two semesters to complete. These are listed in the module catalog as 'Semester 1 and 2." You can only take these modules if you are attending Leeds for the entire academic year.
Most modules offered in these schools (colleges) are "Semester 1 and 2" modules:
- Chemical & Process Engineering
- Design (Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing modules)
- Electronic and Electrical Engineering
- Languages Cultures and Societies (ARAB, FREN, GERM, ITAL, SPPO)
- Mechanical Engineering
You can select any module listed in the Leeds module catalog as being "suitable for incoming study abroad' (isa).
However, some schools have specific requirements for exchange students wanting to enroll in their modules. Please look through the list here to make sure you're eligible to take modules in those schools.
You will enroll in your modules AFTER arrival at University of Leeds.

If you are planning an applying to the fall only exchange option you must schedule a meeting with UK Exchanges Coordinator Laurence Tuccori to discuss the requirements for proctored exams.
