University of Exeter International Summer School
Exeter, England  

Program Overview

As one of England's top universities, the University of Exeter offers a culturally and historically rich backdrop for your studies abroad. The University of Exeter's International Summer School, with courses and programs geared towards the arts and sciences, provides students with top-notch educational experiences by interacting with high quality faculty members, personal support systems, and interesting excursions designed to supplement course material.

This program is offered in 2 separate sessions.
Session 1: June 29 - July 20, 2019
Session 2: July 20 - August 10, 2019

Students must complete two applications to participate in this program - one to UK Education Abroad and one to University of Exeter.

Academic Credit

Students will earn transfer credit from University of Exeter. For all successfully completed courses, the credit hours, course title and course equivalency will be indicated on the UK transcript. Students must complete the coursework during this program according to the established guidelines by University of Exeter. The grades earned will be important to progression in future academic endeavors, including graduate or professional school; however the grades earned will NOT be indicated on the UK transcript.   • PRIOR to departure, students taking non-UK faculty courses must complete an Academic Approval Form (AAF) for that coursework.  The AAF indicates how the courses will be used, or course equivalency, once they are transferred to UK.  Upon completion of the term abroad, the transcript should be sent to UK Education Abroad.  Once received, the Education Abroad staff will coordinate transfer of credits to UK.  
  • Upon completion of the term abroad, the transcript should be sent to the UK Education Abroad office. Once received, Education Abroad staff will facilitate the transfer of credits to UK.
  • All students will be enrolled in EAP 599: Study Abroad (1 credit hour) at UK during their term abroad.

 



 

Housing & Meals

Students will be housed in residence halls on Exeter's campus. Each student will have individual en suite room and access to a shared kitchen.

Meals are the responsibility of the student. Breakfast and dinner is available for an extra $400.
